Introduction

The main character, a church leader of relatively good caliber who has achieved some results in her work for the church, has become exceedingly arrogant and self-righteous. She thinks she's right in everything she says, and that she has very insightful views. She has a hard time accepting her co-workers' suggestions, and her unilateral actions end up compromising the church's work. Through being pruned and dealt with, and judged and revealed by God’s words, she comes to both recognize and loathe her arrogant disposition. Fulfilling her duty with her sisters and brothers from then on, she becomes able to let go of herself to seek the truth, take others' suggestions on board, and no longer be as arrogant or self-righteous as before.
