2020 English Devotional Song With Lyrics | "God's Warning to Man"

Hymn Videos 2407  May 13, 2020

I

First, examine your transgressions.

This is the place you must begin.

Examine all your thoughts and behavior

in your life that don’t conform to truth.

What God requires is quite simple,

but that’s not all He asks of you.

Don’t laugh at or look down on what God asks.

Be serious and don’t dismiss this task.

God officially tells you,

He does not care how hard or fine you work,

how qualified or renowned you are,

how closely you follow Him,

how improved you are in your attitude,

if you don’t do the things God demands,

you’re never going to win His praise.

II

Next, for each transgression and rebellion,

find a truth that deals with each one,

replace your rebellious thoughts and behavior

and your transgression with practice of the truth.

Third, you’ve gotta live honestly,

not be clever or be crafty.

Now if you can accomplish these three things,

you’re fortunate, one whose dreams do come true.

God officially tells you,

He does not care how hard or fine you work,

how qualified or renowned you are,

how closely you follow Him,

how improved you are in your attitude,

if you don’t do the things God demands,

you’re never going to win His praise.

III

You may treat these three terms

seriously or just irresponsibly.

Still, God’s purpose is for you

to fulfill your dreams and put your ideals into practice.

He doesn’t mean to make a fool of you.

Write off all those ideas you’ve got,

things you’ve planned and calculated,

start treating God’s demands seriously,

or else, He’ll bring an end to all His work

by turning all people to ash.

For enemies and people reeking

of evil on the model of Satan

can’t enter God’s kingdom or the next age.

God officially tells you,

He does not care how hard or fine you work,

how qualified or renowned you are,

how closely you follow Him,

how improved you are in your attitude,

if you don’t do the things God demands,

you’re never going to win His praise,

oh, His praise, His praise.
